Welcome to Sydney Technical High School a public school with a proud history of educating gifted young men between Years 7-12 for over 100 years.

Our school values are the bedrock of everything we do and we serve a diverse community of learners and their families who represent the cosmopolitan mixture of modern Australia.  Our educational program has four core areas: an excellent academic program; strong wellbeing and emotional support; a diverse range of exciting extra curricular opportunities and a strong foundation in leadership and citizenship.

At Sydney Technical High School, we want to motivate and challenge young men to develop their natural abilities. There are many opportunities for them to do so. We want our young men to achieve their personal best and to enjoy learning. We want them to discover their leadership talents; become thoughtful citizens and to participate in the multitude of school programs and sports. We want them to grow up into ethical young men who stand up for what is right; who support each other and have good knowledge of themselves and others, and develop lifelong friendships.

We follow the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Syllabus, and all mandated policies of the NSW Department of Education (DoE). Our students are equipped to value respect, responsibility and show integrity in every aspect of their lives at school and in the community and into the future. We aim to give students a balanced curriculum of arts and sciences so that they can grow into well rounded young men with wide interests.

"Every individual has the right to realise himself: that is to fully develop the power and capacities, physical, mental, moral and spiritual; with which nature endowed him."
