Tech Alumni Day 2017

On Friday 25 August we held a Tech Alumni Day.  This was a new format where we invited four different year groups 1996, 1997, 2011 and 2012.  We had approximately 40 alumni attend and a few ex staff.  The alumni who attended enjoyed the opportunity to catch up with old classmates and find out some interesting facts about the school since leaving.  They were able to view the Year 12 HSC Visual Arts students’ major projects and have a tour of the school.  They attended the school weekly assembly where they watched the Year 10 Commerce Political Campaign speeches.

Mark Youssef, one of the alumni, spoke at the assembly about his experiences since leaving Tech and his involvement in school life while he was at school.  He encouraged our students to make the most of their time at Tech and take advantage of all it has to offer.  This was followed by a morning tea, where the alumni caught up with current staff.  Some of the alumni were able to stay longer and visit some technology classes.
