Ex Techie leads important health study
One of our old students, PhD candidate Ananthan Ambikairajah (2011 alumni) has led a study into fat mass changes during menopause, with the findings being published in the American Journal of Obsetrics & Gynecology. This meta-analysis has important implications for women's health.

Science and Engineering Challenge
Congratulations to our Year 10 students who participated in the first round of the Science and Engineering Challenge at Olympic Park at the end of last month, which was organised by the University of Newcastle. The team of 32 Year 10 students came first in five activities against other schools. The activities are Engineering related, and require skills, teamwork, creativity and practical skills. We are waiting eagerly to hear if they have secured enough points to go onto the regional competition next term.
